Lawrence Bell, D.C.

D. Lawrence Bell, D.C. - Attune Up - Center for Wellbeing in Bingham Farms, MI

Dr. Bell graduated from Michigan State University in 1993 and soon after started working in product design and engineering for the Automotive industry. In 1998, he left the comforts of home to pursue writing movies and music in Los Angeles. While in Los Angeles, he encountered several experiences that shifted the trajectory of his life, fueling a new found interest in the healing arts and human body.

Deeply affected by these experiences, he chose to pursue Chiropractic, having connected to its vitalistic roots and approach to healing. After years of study and experience with several healing modalities, he graduated in 2003 and soon after opened a private practice providing Network Spinal Analysis, Somato Respiratory Integration, Neuro Emotional Technique, Quantum Kinetics, and Nutrition as a baseline for health and wellness care. With years of personal and clinical experience, he developed Sameta, a healing application that allows the body to access deeper states of flow, inner peace, and well being.

In 2006, Dr. Bell founded Sameta Center for Healing, conceived to be a portal for growth, education, healing, and host to many community & healing events in the greater Los Angeles area. He continued to provide health & wellness care, workshops, and healing intensives (in collaboration with other facilitators in the community) aimed at providing support, strategies, and tools for personal growth and greater self-awareness.

In the Fall of 2012, he made the decision to return to his roots in Michigan where he continues to offer health & wellness care to his local community and the greater Detroit area.  In addition to this care, he offers mentoring  ("Enrichment Sessions") to personal clients, business clients, organizations,  and community leaders.

Dr. Bell has traveled throughout Europe and in Costa Rica leading group intensives and offering workshops in collaboration with other colleagues.  He has also served as program director for TAT (Transformational Art Therapy), working with a professional team aimed at assisting young adults in gaining access to life affirming activities with opportunities to grow, heal from trauma, and blossom into fully-functional, self-sufficient, creative, and productive members of society.
